Violet Sky Photography is owned and run by Zoe Lyle, that's me! 

I have an academic background in Biology and spent several years studying photography as a side project. These combined passions enabled me to be a photography tutor at Auckland Zoo, where I taught for 6 years in their young person and adult photography workshops, sharing my skills and watching as people grew in confidence during workshops.  

Portrait work is my favourite form of photography and I have worked with a range of styles from family through to corporate portraiture in both Hong Kong and Auckland for the past 10 years.  I have been fortunate to work with a range of commercial businesses from fitness studios and local government through to the communications and finance sector to create material for print and website use. 

When I'm not behind a camera I am in the Physio clinic with patients or teaching Pilates which helps me to wield those large, heavy lenses!
